James Solomon, Certified Wellness Program Coordinator
Senior Client Engagement Manager, Cigna
James will present information on how to build a culture of well-being with case studies of companies that have successfully done this. He will also discuss innovations in how to identify, reach out to, and coach employees.
James Solomon has been in the Insurance Industry for 18 years, all through the employment of Cigna. He was hired as a Customer Service Representative and quickly progressed to Manager of the Cigna Tampa Call Center, responsible for the customer service experience of National Accounts as well as large local accounts.
James was hired into the Sales Department in 2003 as a Client Strategy Specialist and promoted to a Senior Client Engagement Manager in 2007. In this position he has acquired extensive experience working with clients of all sizes including municipalities ranging in size from 500 to 20,000 customers in addition to private sector firms ranging in size from 400 to over 15,000 customers. His responsibilities include health promotion and wellness strategy, enrollment strategy and execution, benefits specialist, and ongoing employer and employee communications.
James was born in Michigan and moved to Florida with his family when he was 3 years old. He attained his Associates Degree from Polk State College and went on to earn his BA in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.
