ABOUT OUR SPEAKER – Rhett O’Doski, co-founding partner of Advantage Consulting Team, LLC, has more than 20 years of experience in government and politics and has a proven track record of successfully representing clients on complex business matters with professionalism and integrity. O’Doski’s work inside State Government has positioned him as a trusted and valuable resource to state policy makers.
Mr. O’Doski has worked in the private sector since 2002 representing clients with a wide array of interests before the Legislature and state agencies. Mr. O’Doski’s practice has focused on appropriations, property and casualty insurance, health care, energy, technology and financial services.
Mr. O’Doski has a diverse background in government and politics. Prior to practicing in the public sector, Mr. O’Doski served as Senior Consultant to Former Insurance Commissioner Bill Nelson (current U.S. Senator) and Legislative Specialist to Former Chief Financial Officer Tom Gallagher. As the legislative lobbyist for the Department of Insurance under two administrations, Mr. O’Doski was responsible for development, coordination and passage of the Department’s legislative agenda and budget priorities.
Mr. O’Doski served four years as Chief of Staff to former State Senator Charles Williams.
He is a member of the Association of Insurance Compliance Professionals, Florida Association of Health Underwriters and Florida Association of Professional Lobbyists. A native of Bartow, Mr. O’Doski moved to Tallahassee in 1991, received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from Florida State University, and made Tallahassee his home. He is married to Miami native Ivette Arango O’Doski, and they are the parents of one son, RJ O’Doski.
Outside of the office, Mr. O’Doski enjoys car racing and competes in the professional Grand Am/IMSA race series.

Participants will learn the basic concepts and tools available for alternate funding of ancillary group insurance coverages. Topics covered include Experience Rating Refund (ERR) arrangements, Claim Fluctuation Reserves (CFR), Retrospective Premium Agreements, and Minimum Premium arrangements.
Over the next 4 months, we will be collecting hotel toiletries (soap, shampoo/conditioner, and lotion) to benefit organizations that work with our local homeless population. With summer vacation travel forthcoming, please consider bringing home any unused toiletries for our donation program. Last year you were phenomenal in your efforts. Thanks so much.
